Quicken – An unknown error has occurred. Please try to connect later.
Problem:
I just installed Quicken 2015 or Quicken 2016, and I get the error message “An unknown error has occurred. Please try to connect later.”
How do I get past this error and register Quicken?
- Internet is fine.
- Password is correct – I can log into the Inuit website just fine.
- Password has been changed to a complex password as required by the website.
Solution:
Download and install the latest Mondo patch update. You can’t update through Quicken itself since it won’t let you in. Get it from the website.
This worked for me. Quicken didn’t seem to fully upgrade itself after I reinstalled on my new computer. thanks for posting the solution
