OSTicket Upgrade Procedure
Because they make it so hard to find on their site…
Download the new version and unzip it. You can get the very latest development release from here. But you should probably stick to the stable releases.
You’ll have a bunch of files like this that matches your current site.
You should back up your SQL database first. But you probably won’t and it probably won’t matter.
1. Back up your current files.
2. Copy these new files over the top of your old files and overwrite everything.
3. Open your site and log into the admin. If any upgrade procedures need to happen it will tell you.
4. Delete the Setup folder from your site (via FTP)
